The Vistaprint Edge Services team is responsible for delivering and securing Vistaprint's experiences to customers worldwide. Our goal in the Edge Services team is to demonstrate world-class solutions, automation, and tools to ensure our customers can access any one of our localized websites across our numerous brands from anywhere. The Edge Services team partners with teams to accelerate launches into new regions, new products, and new brands.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a team of engineers as they build and support systems that provide services to hundreds of developers and millions of customers
  • Craft and build systems and configurations that deliver our experiences to customers all over the world.
  • Develop new ways to lead our systems and configuration that help other teams accelerate and self-serve the delivery of their solutions to our customers.
  • Work closely with partners across the business to overcome sophisticated challenges with innovative problem solving and technical solutions.
  • Help other teams make informed trade-offs by being the domain professional for a variety of technologies.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, and Leadership to formulate road maps, and quarterly plans that align with technology goals as well as business objectives.

  • In the past, you have been a career coach and have had direct technical reports.
  • You’ve been working as a software developer or SRE for several years.
  • You’ve worked on critical business projects where you gathered stakeholder’s requirements and enumerated tradeoffs
  • You’ve picked up one or two programming languages in your career journey and have delivered significant outcomes leveraging that knowledge at an expert level
  • You are adept at problem-solving with a systematic and methodical investigative approach.

     

Nice to Have:

  • You are someone who has experience with Content Delivery Networks and DNS systems and can provide example of those implementations with supporting business challenges.
  • You are an engineer that has experience with leveraging internet scale edge compute.
  • You are someone who has experience managing systems whose stakeholders are in business and technology roles.
  • You are someone who has experience developing technical product roadmaps and longer-term forecasts.
  • You are someone who has experience with Agile development using Scrum or Kanban
