We are looking for a Director, Creative Project Management Office (PMO), reporting to our Senior Director-Creative Ops, to build and strengthen this essential practice within our Marketing organization.
 

The Director, Creative PMO will lead the Creative Project Management Office (PMO) responsible for managing Program Managers, passionate about large scale advertising and brand initiatives with external partners/agencies., and Creative Project Managers, supporting channels such as email, online display, print, content and social media marketing. In total, the Director will be leading a team responsible for providing full program/project management support for a wide array of campaigns and projects, varying in scope from large, cross-functional strategic campaigns to business as usual (BAU) requests.
 

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a robust team that will effectively supply to the organization by getting results through the creative program/project management subject area. Provide ongoing guidance/direction to establish and enhance the PMO's capabilities while driving efficiency, productivity, and quality throughout the Creative organization.
  • Build, lead and run a team with varied strengths of Creative Program and Project Managers supporting a wide array of advertising, brand, digital marketing, and site campaigns. Mentor, coach and support ongoing development of all team members.
  • Establish processes that ensure the Creative team runs smoothly internally and cross-functionally with other teams; Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, and GTM teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of campaign and project priorities. Ensure alignment of creative teams and resources to overall timelines and milestones to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Work with creative leadership to allocate and assign Creative resources across ever-changing creative needs, timelines, priorities, and asset types; act as first point of contact for defining new types of work and ensuring proper ‘casting’ of creative talent accordingly. Establish consistent processes for engaging with external agencies/vendors and streamline onboarding process.
  • Work with other Project Management / Production function leads across Marketing and Customer Experience organization to streamline processes and tools for creative project management, identify opportunities for efficiency across teams and share best practices.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of creative project workflows and work with Program and Project Management teams to formulate and report on relevant KPIs to optimize team performance, maximize efficiencies and improve project outcomes.
     

Your Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience running creative project management or creative operations in-house at a global brand.
  • 8+ years of diversified creative project management; experience with project planning and implementation, and resource planning is highly preferred.
  • Effective and accountable leader and people manager, with strength in active listening, change management, collaboration and communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and implement new project management standards and processes within a highly matrixed organization. Experience developing and deploying KPI framework to measure performance and guide decision making.
  • Must have experience serving as a Creative Project Management Lead and partnering with senior leadership to resolve and escalate critical issues, risks, and dependencies for successful and timely completion of projects.
     

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with agile-based methodologies, within creative services organizations, is a plus.
  • Highly collaborative, self-motivated and decisive with the ability to adapt to changing and competing demands.
  • Experience with Vendor Management
  • Understands and advocates for creative excellence.
