Vistaprint, a scaling $1B global ecommerce organization, has a central London office and is adding to its Global Customer and Competitive Insights team in this location. 


This team combines research, analytics and strategy expertise and works in partnership with global teams across the organization to uncover marketing, customer and competitive insights that inform short and long-term business decisions. 
For this endeavour we are looking for highly motivated analysts who understand customer generated data, and who can provide meaning behind the numbers to develop insights


Your role will involve...


  • Incorporating and processing data from multiple studies to create coherent and compelling stories – market tracking data, customer transactional history, and visitor website activity - in advanced statistical analyses
  • Being involved in projects and analysis spanning multiple business areas (brand, channels, markets, communications) and research/analysis techniques
  • Translating data and information into meaningful findings and insights that you are able to clearly communicate within your project team and to stakeholders
  • Demonstrating flexibility to quickly respond to ad hoc analytic or research requests common in this dynamic, fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Working to build and maintain strong relationships across the global customer and competitive insights team in order to work collaboratively to deliver against objectives
  • Opportunity to develop over time to oversee studies of critical strategic importance to the company


In return you will bring:


  • Experience: 2 to 3 years professional experience in Customer/Marketing strategy or market research - gained either in agency or client-side. Experience in designing and managing both qualitative and quantitative research projects
  • Competency: Academic or professional background in statistics, including use of statistical software packages (e.g. SPSS). Knowledge of SQL and SAS. High proficiency in using Microsoft Excel to perform analyses and incorporating findings into PowerPoint presentations
  • Aptitude: Business curiosity to understand how and where insights can impact the business
  • Integrated analysis: Ability to integrate multiple data sources to tell a story
  • Presenting: Strength in charting and representing data and information in creative and visually powerful ways
  • Project management Manage multiple projects supporting multiple internal stakeholders
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Able to engage with internal clients groups to understand their business challenges and objectives.
