Vistaprint has an opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter to join our Manufacturing Plant in Deer Park to lead the provision and administration of all maintenance activities.

Your role will involve

  • Manage the maintenance team of Technicians covering 3 shifts
  • Safety leadership of the Maintenance team
  • Accountable for team performance and agreed business outcomes
  • Adapt plans and prioritise to meet service and/or operational requirements as they evolve
  • Decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan, receiving guidance from manager
  • Provide team members, colleagues and/or customers with specific guidance related to the discipline
  • Providing service to the Operations team
  • Working collaboratively with Engineering, Quality and SHE
  • Emphasising proactive or preventative maintenance using a CMMS (Mex)
  • Monitoring and reporting on machine availability
  • Developing action plans to improve OEE
  • Cost management balanced with productivity needs
  • Contractor management
  • Ensure facility systems are working optimally
  • Engage with global counterparts for best practice sharing


In return you will bring

  • Significant experience in the field of Facilities Management & Plant Equipment Maintenance at a senior level
  • Tertiary qualifications in a technical discipline is required
  • Experience in managing workplace risks in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in the field of industrial engineering and or process planning in the production environment including project management
  • Strong technical aptitude both mechanically and electrically


Key Attributes

  • Professional knowledge of reliability-based, preventative maintenance systems
  • Professional knowledge of plant facilities maintenance systems
  • An understanding of Lean production systems
  • Initiative / Self starter
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and PC-based maintenance systems
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong influencing skills providing the ability to lead, motivate & mentor people
  • Collaboration skills
  • Communication skills, written and verbal
