Do you want to bring science and craft to the art of pricing and promotion optimization? We are crafting this dedicated role to work with our 20+ Pricing & Promotion team members and the different country organizations to support decision making for price & promotion optimization. We are looking for an experienced analyst that will autonomously generate important, robust insights that teams trust and act on. Join us on this journey!

 

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely in a complementary team. You will be working with and learning from a closely integrated team of data product owners, data scientists, data engineers and other data analysts to improve our Pricing & Promo recommendations and data products.
  • Build new or enhance existing data products. You will help develop scalable and autonomized data products as well predict, implement, test and supervise resulting changes to the pricing and promotions methodology.
  • Collaborating in a fast paced, agile environment that focuses on delivering customer value early and often. Working with people who are as energetic, smart, and driven as you are.
  • Data Exploration and Visualization. Through ad-hoc questions, identifying trends and drivers, performing exploratory data analyses and communicating views that will provide visibility into our performance.
  • Building dashboards to enable decision-making. Partnering with business stakeholders to understand their questions, translating it into key metrics and enabling self-service decisions through building dashboards.
  • Getting exposure to a wide range of projects in our growing company, working with amazingly hardworking colleagues, and getting the opportunity to solve a diverse set of problems.
  • Curiosity and innovation. Bring novel and untested ideas to the table to constantly innovate how we define and measure success of our work for customers and the business
  • Self-reliant manner, focusing on balancing efficiency of the analyses with difficulty of methods (“as much as needed, as little as possible”).
  • Drive relevant conclusions and recommendations to act from the analyses and present them to partners in the team.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Proficient in SQL and always willing to learn.
  • 2 + years experience with visualization tools (either Tableau, Looker, Power Bi, etc) and in an environment that let you practice and build out those skills, eCommerce is a plus.
  • Experience with web analytic tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) and with other programming languages (e.g., Python, R) are a plus.
  • Good communication skills to present and report findings effectively and engagingly to various audiences
