The Pricing & Promotions team has been core to Vistaprint’s continued growth in recent years, by facilitating informed business and marketing decisions. You will be part of a world-class international team that operates in partnership with the business, working on major strategic questions and analysis that underpins the success of our organization as well as developing cutting edge models to support pricing and promotion recommendations.

Within the Pricing & Promotions team, we are looking for a driven Senior Analyst to specialize in Competitive Intelligence (CI) to help fulfil their mission of offering fair prices to our customers. Since the CI domain is relatively new, you'll need to be a self-starter and not afraid to guide the direction of the reporting and analyses of CI data products’ features and findings. You will work collaboratively with the data product team, including data product managers, data scientists, data engineers and CI specialists. You will also have opportunity to collaborate and work on projects within the broader Pricing & Promotions remit to deepen your domain context knowledge.


What You Will Do:

  • Be immersed in diverse teams (e.g., Product Owners, Marketing, Developers) where you will collaborate on analyses and continually bring forward ideas and insights to drive value for our customers.
  • Data exploration, visualization, and dashboarding. Identify trends and drivers, perform exploratory data analyses and present views that will provide visibility into our data products' performance and competitor pricing behavior.
  • Data analysis and modeling. Incorporate multiple data sources and methodologies to conduct in-depth, tailored analysis of competitors to uncover key actionable information such as insights and trends to support business decisions.
  • Assisting in the development/build of competitive intelligence data products and solutions, including managing content such as reports, visualizations, and updates.
  • Deriving meaningful conclusions and recommendations to act from the analyses and present them to the team and to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating in a fast paced, agile environment that focuses on delivering customer value early and often.
  • Share and explain findings in wider audiences including taking necessary adjustments in communication approach and style.


Your Qualifications:

  • Passionate about data and technology. You have experience in SQL. Other programming languages (e.g. Python or R) are a plus. Experience with Cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake or Databricks) and data pipelines are a strong plus. Experience with web analytic tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) is a nice to have.
  • Inquisitive by nature. You are comfortable with exploratory analysis and statistical techniques and are driven to find meaningful patterns and trends in the data.  Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker is a plus.
  • A resourceful and driven problem solver.  You enjoy and/or have demonstrated ability tackling complex problems, drawing inferences from data, and using your analysis skills and eye for business to identify solutions. You have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively deliver on projects supporting multiple business partners.
  • Team-minded and versatile. You have experience and an interest in partnering with multi-functional team members who come to the table with different perspectives. You are open to creative approaches to solving problems.
  • Experienced. 2+ years in an analytics environment or a bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential with a proficient level of English.
