About the Role

Responsible for the ongoing development of the overall Quality Management System (QMS) employed by Vista manufacturing including all supporting policies, procedures, standards, deliverables, and tools to drive improvements to product quality & customer satisfaction. You will develop new and improved processes, provide training, and champion the Quality Management System as well as lead and undertake periodic audits across all sites to ensure nonconformities are verified and resolved. In this role, you will help embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company and lead the team to achieve Quality Management System targets for customer, Vista team members, and business goals. Scope of responsibility includes but is not limited to areas such as: QMS, problem solving techniques, PFMEA development & use, launch & qualification processes, and product conformance auditing processes.


What You’ll Do:

  • Develops, establishes, and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices to ensure Vista products & services meet all internal and customer requirements. Serves as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all applicable quality engineering methodologies.
  • Develops & delivers all relevant training materials to support the deployment and ongoing use of key quality engineering methodologies. Also responsible for assessing the effectiveness of training materials for different activities - operations, engineering, quality etc.
  • Lead in the identification and implementation of improvements to the quality launch and qualification process.
  • Responsible for leading and facilitating multi-location networking and collaboration activities between the plants concerning quality related topics.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance. Influence without authority (can project a convincing case)

What you Need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quality and or Engineering
  • Ability to demonstrate sound and comprehensive problem-solving capabilities (A3 thinking preferred); Can coach and lead others as well lead teams in complex problems solving activities which is driven from proven experience
  • Experience with the application and execution of quality risk reduction methodologies, quality and analysis tool – FMEAs, Control Plans, Six Sigma, statistical analysis (i.e., Minitab).
  • Have been extensively involved in the development and validation of product / process countermeasures from a quality / manufacturing engineering perspective.
  • CQE Certification preferred
