About The Team:

As part of accomplishing this vision, the 99d Experience team within the Logo and Brand domain is responsible for parts of 99designs website (https://99designs.com), including the designer and client collaboration experience and empowering customers to bring their designs to life on as digital physical products using Vista. 

About The Role:

In this role, we are looking for a talented, committed and driven India based senior software engineer to join our product team. We are on the hunt for applicants who are passionate about what they do, possess hands on experience in design and development and can thrive in an agile environment.

• Positively impacts their team and instigates features, services, libraries or refactors.
• Fully owns product or system features, taking initiative in areas they're familiar with.

• Has a solid understanding of the product strategy and contributes to it within their team.
• Finds appropriate business and user metrics to support their opinions and decisions.
• Capable of translating basic business requirements to technical requirements.

Continuously improves themselves and their team

• Provides constructive feedback to peers and managers.
• Able to help new or less experienced members of their team in areas they're familiar with.

What we expect from you?

• 4+ years of experience building enterprise software products in a team setting.
• Minimum 2 years commercial experience with a language like Golang, JavaScript, PHP or Ruby.
• Commercial experience with React or other recent Javascript web frameworks.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and infrastructure as code.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• A passion for continuous learning and improvement to acquire the skills necessary for effectively executing your job.
• Good understanding of agile principles.
• A positive mindset: equal parts curious, collaborative, and can-do.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work with the internal & external stakeholders to understand the business drivers, and articulate constraints and options.
