About The Role:
In this role, we seek a talented, committed and driven India-based lead software engineer to join our product team. We are on the hunt for applicants who are passionate about what they do, possess hands-on experience in design and development and can thrive in an agile environment.


The Logo & Brand domain is dedicated to growing Vista into the #1 provider for small business owners looking to create and activate their logo and brand identity. Our ambitious goal is to build the world’s most used and loved logo and visual identity service. We work on accelerating the growth of logos on Vista including leveraging advanced algorithms to efficiently create unique logos, scaling and monetizing our free Logo Maker experience to attract more first-time customers & users, all while maintaining the quality of and satisfaction with the logos we help clients create.

Key working relationships
Your team’s Engineering Manager who’s responsible for the technical direction of the team and acts as your direct supervisor.
Your teamʼs Product Manager, who owns and sets the teamʼs product direction and manages the product backlog.
Your teamʼs Product Designer(s) who lead the design activities in the team.
Software Engineers, and others on the Engineering teamwho help bring the product to life.
Your domainʼs Architect and Domain Lead Engineering who lead the wider Logo & Brand engineering team


What do we expect from you?
6-10 years of experience working as a software developer in a fast-paced, technical, problem-solving environment
2+ years leading a team of 2-6 engineers
Proven track record of engineering excellence including continuous delivery of high-quality, innovative software
Experience crafting simple yet powerful user experiences
Mastery of responsive layouts with HTML and CSS
Expertise in Typescript and Javascript
Thorough understanding of React and its principles; knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
Experience working with AWS services like S3, Cloudfront, DynamoDB, Amplify etc.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Vite, Webpack, CSS Preprocessors, and NPM
Knowledge of a11y techniques
Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs
Experience with version control systems such as Git or Mercurial
Knowledge of state management tools such as Redux and MobX is a plus
Experience with DevOps is a plus
Experience with any NoSQL or RDBMS databases is a plus
Experience with Golang, PHP and Ruby is a plus
Curiosity for identifying and resolving customer pain points
A passion for making an impact by delivering great software
One or two software engineering projects that you are especially proud of and would be excited to talk about with other engineers who can truly appreciate just how cool it is.
