Senior Data Scientist - Spain, Remote

The Marketing Optimization domain within Vista Engineering focuses on delivering marketing intelligence to power engaging, effective and efficient communication with customers.  

As part of the Marketing Optimization domain, you'll join a cross-functional product team named SPACE, a team of seven problem-solving, fun-loving enthusiasts spread across Europe and Boston. Our mission? To optimize our spending in digital channels, such as Paid Search. We're revolutionizing our media campaigns using data, powerful analytics tools, ground breaking technology, and a touch of engineering magic. We have a successful product, but we strive to employ more sophisticated Data Science techniques to help us scale, and we need your help! What You Will Do: 

• Bring advanced Machine Learning techniques into SPACE's suite of data products, driving progressive solutions for our digital marketing spend;  

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business, understanding the problems we are solving, defining success metrics, and effectively communicating methodologies and results;  

• Build new models and algorithms; as well as provide suggestions and help improve the effectiveness of our existing solutions;  

• Champion innovation by generating and implementing new ideas, using the collective expertise of Vista Engineering to turn concepts into actionable data products;  

• Contribute to a roadmap creating data products our customers love. 

Your Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of Machine Learning models development experience;  

• Knowledge of Deep Learning, including Recurrent Neural Networks and Reinforcement Learning (typical Python libraries include TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, OpenAI, RLlib);  

• Excellent programming skills in SQL and Python;  

• Strength in clarifying and formalizing complex problems;  

• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Applied Maths/Statistics or another quantitative field. 

Nice to have: 

• Experience in the productionalization of Data Science solutions (model deployment, monitoring);  

• Good knowledge of dashboard creation tools (e.g., H2O Wave, Streamlit);  

• Relevant work experience in an Agile environment;  

• Previous experience in the marketing domain.
