You are expected to collaborate with multiple teams, to understand the business domain, to design solutions, and to shape technical direction without requiring direct supervision and direction. You are also expected to help and guide new or junior members in the team.

Here are some examples of what we’ve built before so you can get an idea:

  • Integrated Experimentation SaaS (Optimizely) and built necessary tooling to invert control, allowing business users to run tests on most the of the pages of the website, requiring low to none developer intervention.
  • Built tooling and processing pipelines to enable creation of custom metrics based on existing tracking events, so marketers and analysts have a high degree of freedom while designing experiments.
  • Integrated experimentation system with our Data Lake and built views and dashboards on top of it to expose insights about the system usage and health.)

Your Qualifications:

At Vista, we value the experiences that individual team members add to our culture. Please don't hesitate to apply even if you don't meet the exact qualifications, we look forward to learning more about you!

  • Proven experience in object-oriented design in languages like JavaScript, C#, Java, Ruby, Python, or another language to design services/microservices.
  • Experience in building reusable React.JS components.
  • Previous background in collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and working with your team to create a software solution from scratch.
  • Familiarity with making continuous integration and continuous delivery part of how we build software (we use Gitlab).
  • Ability to provision and run infrastructure as code in AWS.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building and using A/B testing frameworks.
  • Experience scaling systems to process high volumes of data efficiently.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

Being at Vista means that you don’t see work as just a building, a desk or a manufacturing floor. You see it as a chance to take a step forward in your career journey – and your life. We strive to give you everything you need to learn, grow, and succeed. Through innovation, collaboration, and perpetual exposure to what’s next, we’re always pushing boundaries and broadening our horizons. We embrace the chance to operate outside of our comfort zone to discover what we’re capable of. Some might call that a challenge; we just call it another great day at work.
