We are searching for an experienced Director of Product Management for our eCommerce domain. Products in this domain serve customers of all sizes, allowing both enterprise-level organizations and small businesses to launch and manage eCommerce solutions. This is a new role, critical to our ongoing success, and we are looking for candidates with experience managing best-in-class eCommerce experiences.


What You Will Do:

  • Mentor and develop a high-performing product management team (currently five PMs across multiple geographies)
  • Build and own the eCommerce product vision and strategy, assisting your team to turn that strategy into meaningful roadmaps and plans
  • Communicate and promote product vision and strategy broadly, to business partners of all levels and technical ability
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers and the business problems they face, and mentor team members to think in a customer-centric way
  • Define success and effectiveness of your products including measurement and monitoring
  • Guide teams through qualitative and quantitative user research initiatives for data driving decision making, including identifying and executing against opportunities that deliver the most business impact
  • Evaluate for build vs. buy decisions while balancing short term and long term strategy
  • Be the “voice of the customer” for engineering teams, and partner closely with Engineering lead on ongoing product discovery work to leverage their combined understanding of tech with an appreciation for the customer problems
  • Partner with UX leads to ensure seamless collaboration between product design and product managers which result in simple, self-service and delightful user experiences
  • Evaluate and rationalize the current product portfolio to improve consistency and efficacy of our solutions; actively deprecate and retire redundant tools


Your Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and coaching other product managers, preferably in an eCommerce company
  • Passionate about driving and improving customer experience
  • Strong depth-of-knowledge of product management best practices
  • Proven track record of product innovation; identifying new opportunities and shipping products in an agile development environment – with a results-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional collaboration, partnership, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Proven track record of “leading through leaders” and managing executive level communication
  • 7-10 years of product management experience in a technology company
