Date: Nov 5, 2020

Location: Amsterdam, NL, 1012 AB

Company: Cimpress/Vistaprint

Who We Are

Cimpress Technology develops cutting-edge, best-in-world software that our mass customization businesses use to create personalized products for over 17 million global customers. Our Mass Customization Platform is comprised of modular, multi-tenant services. Our businesses can choose the solutions that work for them, or assemble any custom combination they need. This makes it easier and faster to do things like introduce new products, reach customers and track orders. And this kind of innovation keeps customers coming back. Just last year, Cimpress generated $2.88B in revenue through customized print products, signage, apparel, packaging and more.

We encourage our engineers to think like an owner – to continue to act small as we grow. Every team defines their own roadmaps, and uses the programming languages and technologies that suit them best. This helps us have a big impact at the enterprise level while still feeling small and nimble.

What You Will Do:

Treat your product like your personal possession: you want the best features and quality, and are willing to invest the time to get that. You want to be proud of this product so you can show it off. You maintain a close relationship with your customers and keep them aware of the developments of the product. They are never surprised by the release of something new, and you always deliver what they need because you have kept them involved during the development process. To summarize:

  • Define, own and execute on a product vision and strategy.
  • Translate business needs into a roadmap and a product backlog with well-defined product requirements for the engineering team. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to advise the product vision, strategy, backlog, and roadmap.
  • Maintain a fundamental understanding of the product, its technical complexities, and its infrastructure.
  • Research and analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Closely collaborate with UX designers to build the outstanding user experience.

Your Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role (such as Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, Account Manager).
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and skills.
  • Academic training in a relevant field.
  • A strong desire for self-improvement, and an aim to control your own learning. In other words: research which training you need and who can coach you, and we will provide the funding and time.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

At Cimpress, we put importance into the wellbeing of our employees, which is why we offer perks that ensure an excellent work/life balance. At Cimpress, we work remote-first so your home office is your primary workplace besides our many ‘teamwork centers’ (formerly known as the office). Other perks include the option to work 32 to 40 hours, and very flexible time-off opportunities, including our outstanding “Break”, and 25 vacation days! You will be offered market rate compensation depending on experience and skills. You will benefit from our health insurance collectivity discount. We are a fast-growing organization, so joining Cimpress Technology now will give you great career opportunities.
