Company:  Cimpress Services

Who We Are:

Cimpress Services' central teams allow us to remain entrepreneurial; to stay small as we grow. These teams enable our businesses to remain laser-focused on their customers and build the tools and services that make Cimpress greater than the sum of our businesses. We are problem solvers. We are storytellers. We are forward thinking. We are relationship builders. We are responsible for company-wide activities like accounting, capital allocation, global tax planning, procurement, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and protecting the company through compliance and risk management. We’re evolving our processes and technology to support Cimpress’ rapid growth.

What You Will Do:

The position belongs to the CAPEX & Consumables Procurement team, at the center of Cimpress’ technology decisions. We support key decision makers throughout the different Cimpress’ companies by securing the best printing technology, aftersales services and supplier knowledge at the most competitive cost. We belong to the Cimpress’ Global Procurement organization, which is integrated within Cimpress Services, a selected group of international professionals dedicated to support Cimpress’ businesses for market leadership and continuous growth.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Identify the current and long-term needs of Cimpress’ businesses by nurturing a fruitful relationship with the leadership of their Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Finance teams.
  • Develop and execute the Category Strategy by researching the applications' market, the technology, the suppliers’ equipment and capabilities that match our needs.
  • Partner up with the Cimpress’ business for specific printing technology projects to source the right equipment, consumables, aftersales services and overall knowledge from the best suppliers.
  • Run the S2C (source-to-contract) procurement process from RFI, RFP, RFQ to business case analysis, supplier selection, negotiation and contracting.
  • During the life of the contract, lead the supplier evaluation process and support the businesses in case of critical issues.
  • Be a strong business advisor and change agent to ensure they have the best machine park for their needs
  • Build a positive relationship with key suppliers to boost their contribution to Cimpress’ innovation and efficiency.

Your Qualifications:

At Cimpress, we value the experiences that individual team members add to our culture. Please don't hesitate to apply even if you don't meet the exact qualifications, we look forward to learning more about you!

  • Good understanding of Procurement’s role for CAPEX sourcing projects and its contribution beyond pure financial results.
  • Good understanding of technology and technical products. An engineering degree is highly desirable.
  • International experience, having worked in more than one country. Proficient English and another European language (German, Italian, French)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills: ability to coordinate global teams and suppliers, to identify KPIs and track the achievements.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to talk to all levels of the organization from C-level to cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Good knowledge of printing technologies: offset and digital
  • Procurement degree (CIPS or equivalent)
  • MBA or equivalent business management degree
