Senior Treasury Analyst

This is your opportunity to join the finance team of Cimpress, the world leader in mass customization.  The Senior Treasury Analyst role is a role that will join the existing four-member Treasury team to ensure that Treasury continues to be able to support the growth of Cimpress. The role will help lead core aspects of Treasury’s cash management operations in support of our decentralized portfolio of businesses. The position will also have exposure to Treasury’s strategic initiatives around capital structure and financial risk management.  The position will report to the Director of Treasury and work heavily with the Treasury Analyst and other members of Finance in addition to heavy engagement with our banks around the world.

 

This role will:

  • Oversee global cash management activities including cash positioning, borrowing, investing, and processing cash movements
  • Lead banking cash management onboarding for newly acquired businesses
  • Evaluate current bank account structure to determine optimal formation
  • Manage monthly intercompany netting settlement process and maintain intercompany loans and settlements
  • Support Treasury Analyst with analyzing bank fees and providing recommendations for cost saving opportunities
  • Support hedging initiatives by reviewing exposures data, assisting with hedge execution and reporting on hedge performance
  • Coordinate the issuance of standby letters of credit and bank guarantees
  • Lead year-end Treasury audit and ensure compliance with SOX requirements
  • Assist with the month-end closings activities, including the review of accounting entries
  • Facilitate the opening of new bank accounts and the establishment of new cash management services
  • Provide support to local finance teams for inquiries related to payments, cash management and bank account issues
  • Communicate effectively with local finance teams and the corporate tax and legal departments to ensure efficient cash movements
  • Execute foreign exchange spot trades and process cash movements
  • Evaluate and recommend new banking products and services and technologies
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and support special projects as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience in a multinational public corporation
  • Some level of exposure to currency and/or interest rate hedging
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of relevant areas of accounting and finance
  • Proven problem solver with the ability to work independently to research, test hypotheses, arrive at conclusions and make recommendations
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate the results
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good command of Microsoft office suite of tools
  • Experience with SAP, Bloomberg, and Misys is preferred
  • CTP designation and/or MBA is preferred
