We’re currently looking for a motivated Senior Accountant who will play an integral role supporting the facilitation of financial information to key partners across our central teams and decentralized businesses. You will be joining a high energy team where you can work collaboratively and grow as a subject matter expert on the team!

 

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with the preparation of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and the related XBRL requirements, as well as support our quarterly earnings release workstream and other internal reporting processes
  • Support the quarterly reporting process, research key accounting topics, and prioritize general day-to-day activities
  • Prepare detailed footnote support files, disclosure checklists, quarterly memos and white papers
  • Assist with the creation of quarterly cash flow analytics used for our quarterly CFO review meetings
  • Help drive the development of global accounting policies, which will require research and significant engagement with business partners
  • Provide advisory type accounting support for our business units, as well as global finance teams including our corporate accounting, treasury, tax and equity administration teams
  • Work cross functionally with the finance organization, including the controllership, corporate accounting, corporate FP&A, equity administration, investor relations, treasury and tax teams
  • Provide support to the audit team for walkthrough procedures and manage audit support requests as they pertain to the SEC reporting and technical accounting workstreams
  • Perform accounting research and interpretations for unique and complex transactions, such as, restructuring or reorganization activities, mergers and acquisitions, investments in minority interests, hedging transactions and other ad hoc topics
  • Develop a deep understanding of Cimpress, our businesses and industry
  • Assist with various special projects as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA license (or in pursuit of)
  • Three to five years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or Regional Firm required)
  • Strong foundational knowledge of US GAAP and SEC requirements
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally across operating functions and geographic locations
  • A proven track record handling several tasks with varying priorities, with a dedication to accuracy and quality
  • This position will be based in Cimpress’ Waltham, Massachusetts collaboration center (once offices re-open) and will require travel to that office at least 1-2 days per week
