We are storytellers. We are forward thinking. We are relationship builders. We are responsible for company-wide activities like accounting, capital allocation, global tax planning, procurement, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and protecting the company through compliance and risk management. We’re evolving our processes and technology to support Cimpress’ rapid growth.

The category manager acts as a link between the company and the suppliers, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment of objectives.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: The category manager is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions, regulatory compliance, and ethical sourcing. This includes developing contingency plans to handle risks and ensuring that procurement practices follow relevant laws, regulations, and corporate social responsibility standards.
  • Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing: A strategic procurement category manager plays a critical role in developing and implementing sustainable procurement practices. This includes identifying and prioritizing environmentally friendly and ethically sourced materials and services, engaging with suppliers to encourage sustainable practices, and ensuring that the company's supply chain meets established sustainability and corporate social responsibility goals.
  • Innovation and Product Development Support: Identify and evaluate opportunities for new products or improvements to existing ones that can drive company revenue growth. By leveraging insights from market analysis and supplier capabilities, the strategic procurement category manager collaborates with product development teams to bring innovative products to market, ensuring alignment with consumer demands and competitive differentiation.
