What You Will Do:

Cimpress Services are looking for a Senior Capex Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Cimpress businesses and the Capex procurement team with detailed intelligence based on available data across multiple systems within Cimpress and 3rd parties online, including benchmarking and market intelligence. In this role you will build & manage trusted relations with all Cimpress’ teams involved in way or form in the utilization or decision-making process relative to printing production equipment, ensuring fluent and continuous data sharing and transparency. Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Keeping the Capex database updated through data gathering and validation, owning the relationships with counterparts at the designated suppliers, as well as with Cimpress internal stakeholders (most especially Category Managers).
  • Creating, maintaining and updating analytical reports for Capex in an agile way, to support decision making in a constantly changing business environment.
  • Answering management data requirements, making ad-hoc reports, analysis, and queries, including “what if “analysis on demand, ensuring our business partners are always serviced for their full analytical requirements.
  • Providing recommendations to support capex buying decisions (bundling of replacement projects), and service and operational performance evaluation of relevant machines/suppliers. 
  • Drafting and formulating detailed business cases to support strategic goals and evaluate supplier proposals to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Extracting the appropriate information from external and internal rich data sources and translating to insights and recommendations and to be the link between Global Procurement and all Cimpress production & engineering teams.
  • Building scenarios and analysis based on information provided by Category Managers to support capex buying decisions.
  • Supporting yearly Supplier performance ratings, strategic evaluations/segmentation, and developing plans through detailed analytical support.
  • Identify additional data to enhance the added value to the business (operating, service performance)

Your Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electronic)
  • Good understanding of technology and equipment, experience in the evaluation of performance of technical equipment and familiar with technical equipment KPIs.
  • At least 3 years international CAPEX analytics experience and project management experience in a large international corporate environment with multiple business units, operating in multiple currencies and a decentralized management structure.
  • Advanced level in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL and related modelling tools) plus a high-level user of Microsoft Office applications, ability to present to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge in statistical analysis.
